The Crate - Sportsman 602 Thunder series is the creation of racers Steve Massey and Scott Morgan. Their previous involvement in various types of motorsports as well as their association with successful series in the past will provide the experience and foresight necessary to manage the Thunder Series in a way that racers and fans will appreciate.
The Thunder Series is designed to be a competitive, affordable series for all 602 racers. In 2016, we will be putting the spotlight on grassroots racers at tracks in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The door to door action of 602 classes across the southeast, when put at center stage, is sure to entertain race fans of every shape and size wherever the Thunder Series goes.
